New Charlottesville LabVIEW Users Group Starting in September

Charlottesville, VA (August 13, 2008)–During the past couple of months, DHi employee Jon Moore has been organizing a new LabVIEW Users Group in Charlottesville.

LabVIEW is a computer language sold by National Instruments, a company that DHi has recently teamed with to provide hardware and software development services. The new users group is envisioned as a forum for networking, discussing questions about LabVIEW and data acquisition, and providing an outlet to locally advertise DHi services in its role as a National Instruments Alliance Partner.

Surveys were sent out late last month to determine where and when the meetings should be held and what subjects people were interested in hearing about. The Users Group will be working closely with the local National Instruments sales representatives who will likely supply equipment for demonstration and help with ideas for topics.

The first meeting is planned for mid-September. The members are hoping that they can come up with a better acronym than CLUG by then.
