Arlington Defense Firm Appoints New VP for Special Projects

Arlington, VA (December 22, 2006)—Defense Holdings Inc. (DHi) has appointed Roger B. Neighborgall as the company's new Vice-president for Special Projects.  Mr. Neighborgall’s extensive business background has included over 50 years in senior leadership positions with organizations such as Page Communications, Inc., Computing and Software, Inc., Sperry Corp., Diagnostic Retrieval Systems, Inc., and the Federal government. He is also an experienced Congressional lobbyist.

Still an active tennis player at 83, Mr. Neighborgall is the founder and President of the 5,000 member Northern Virginia Tennis League. He is also president of the Board of Directors of the Washington and Old Dominion (W&OD) Trail Organization as well as being former president of YMCA of Washington, DC, and the WWII Rangers Association. Earlier this year, he served as Grand Marshal of the 25th Annual City of Falls Church, Virginia, Memorial Day Parade.

Recently, Mr. Neighborgall has been relating his WWII experiences in the European theater as a U. S. Army Ranger in speaking engagements at area universities, high schools, and civic associations. His vivid narratives have been received with great enthusiasm wherever he appears. In addition, he has discussed his war experiences on radio and television, most recently in a documentary aired on the History Channel. His military exploits earned him the Silver Star, the Bronze Star, a Combat Infantry Badge, and decorations from the Government of France. “I’m on a mission,” he says, “to insure that students and the general public correctly remember history.”
