DHi Awarded PL Installation Contract at USUHS

Annapolis, MD (October 25, 2006)—DHi announced today that it has been awarded a contract to install emergency photoluminescent (PL) low-level exit path markings (LLEPM) in 8 buildings housing the Uniformed Service University of the Health Sciences (USUHS).

Located on the campus of the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, USUHS was established in 1972 by Congress with a mission of educating physicians for the U. S. Armed Forces.

The new contract tasks DHi, with installing a comprehensive system of PL pathway markings and signage in corridors and stairwells throughout each building. The design and scope of the USUHS LLEPM system is patterned after DHi's installation in the Pentagon. The value of the contract was not disclosed.
