DHi and Jones County, NC in the News
Trenton, NC (October 16, 2006) — DHi's upcoming presence in Jones County, North Carolina, continues to generate considerable excitement both locally and nationally. Intense statewide attention has been drawn to the company's new Operations and Technology Development Center (OTDC) that's slated for completion in 2007.
It will help create much-needed jobs for the local economy. Area officials regard this as vital to retaining the county's youth population which must now move elsewhere after high school and college to seek employment opportunities. DHi is just as eager to tap this neglected labor market, which also includes retired veterans in the county
In addition to stories by the Associated Press and other nationwide media outlets and TV coverage throughout the state, news on DHi and Jones County—Partners in Progress—has appeared in the Kinston, NC Free Press (PDF here and related story here), WITN-TV 7, the News-Observer (here and here), the WRAL LocalTechWire, MyrtleBeachOnline (AP wire), Triangle Business Journal, WRAL-TV 5, the New Bern Sunday Journal, FoxCarolina News, the Richmond Times-Dispatch (Virginia), and numerous additional publications and websites.
