New DHi Building Underway in North Carolina

Trenton, NC (July 12, 2007)—In a former cotton field at the edge of the Jones County, county seat, a major construction project is now well underway as Defense Holdings, Inc.’s (DHi’s) new Operations and Technology Development Center (OTDC) begins to take shape.

The building’s massive concrete pad was poured in June, and work has just begun on the building’s structural steel support beams. When completed, the 23,000 sq. ft. structure will support DHi’s metal fiber brush (MFB) and photoluminescent (PL) safety R&D and manufacturing and will house offices as well for area personnel who will be involved with military contract work. In conjunction with these activities, DHi has recently stepped up its efforts to introduce itself to local military facilities and personnel.

Also bright is the promise of much-needed new jobs to the Jones County area. DHi is already conducting limited job interviews in Trenton in anticipation of the new facility’s completion.
