DHI Nominated for Anne Arundel Tech Innovator Award

Annapolis, MD (October 13, 2006)— The Anne Arundel Tech Council, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and enriching the area's growing technology industry, has announced that DHi’s Annapolis unit is one of four finalists for its 2006 Tech Innovator Award.  The Council sponsors four additional award categories.

The winners in each category will be announced at the Council’s 2nd Annual “TechAwards 06: Celebrating the Intersection of Technology and Life” program on Nov. 1, 2006, 6 to 9 pm at the Loews Annapolis Hotel.

The Anne Arundel Tech Council received some 34 nominations this year from a variety of accomplished technology businesses throughout the county. A 14-member selection committee spent two weeks examining the nominations and criteria and then voted on the top contenders.

DHi was nominated for the Tech Innovator award on the strength of its pioneering use of leading-edge photoluminescent safety materials in a wide variety of building and architectural applications and its ability to enter into strategic alliances with other corporations to bring its new technologies to the marketplace.

With corporate headquarters in Manassas, Virginia, DHi is a world-class team of dedicated engineering professionals committed to developing and deploying innovative technologies to advance the national interest and improve the lives of all Americans.
